Porsche 997 front bumper

Start in the front trunk area by eliminating the black colored plastic cover piece near the front hood latch. Regarding the 996s four small fasteners hold this piece positioned. Just turn them a half change roughly with a flathead screwdriver to loosen all of them up and remove. The 997 trim piece is held in by Velcro from bellow and certainly will just be raised and removed. Carry the trunk area latch around pull the synthetic address piece up-and from the front side bumper. The inset image also reveals the heat sensor you'll want to remove through the grille clipped on passenger side of the front bumper.

Aided by the forward black synthetic address piece eliminated, you can see both screws that keep the forward bumper cover to the chassis of the 996 (lower picture). On the 997 (upper picture) there are three screws that support the bumper on (two shown, green arrows). You can even look at Velcro that holds the trim piece (blue arrows).

under the car, there are many more Phillips-head (996) and Torx head T30 (997) screws that attach the bumper cover towards the framework. Pull these.
