2008 Porsche Boxster RS 60 Spyder
Porsche is absolutely nothing if you don't nostalgic. Between retro color combinations regarding 911 GT3 RS therefore the glacial speed regarding the Carrera's advancement, it's pretty obvious this can be a business that wants to look back around it wants to progress. Not too we are complaining, of course.
It may be said, we suppose, the Boxster RS60 spyder started life 47 years ago by means of the gold 1960 Porsche Type 718 RS60 spyder piloted by Hans Herrmann and Olivier Gendebien, who arrived Porsche its very first general triumph in the 1960 12 Hours of Sebring—a watershed victory for fledgling brand name.
Today's limited-edition Boxster RS60 spyder (just 1960 will likely be made for worldwide circulation) is rendered in GT Silver with twin lip spoilers in front and all-red taillamp lenses in straight back. The windshield surround is black, therefore the 19-inch tires tend to be set farther down with spacer dishes, offering the spyder a somewhat more intense position.
The RS60's interior is rendered in Carrera red-leather to match the Carrera red-top. When it comes to less extroverted, a far more conservative dark gray leather-based and black colored top combo is also readily available. Either difference features lots of silver accents in, as well as a special shift knob.
