The 993, 3.6L DME engines included a secondary environment shot system to satisfy emission control standards. The the different parts of this atmosphere injection system composed of atmosphere tubes, supplier housing, check device and air pump set up. Working with the exhaust catalytic converter emission control system, it works to reduce emissions on cool motor start by injecting environment in to the motor camshaft housings moving down through fatigue harbors. Whenever putting in and converting towards the (1994-1998) 993, 3.6L DME engines to pre 1995 framework, or cars, the pump set up may be removed conserving weight and complexity.
